On a raised area at the top of College Road, Ennis. Listed as Windmill in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). The earliest reference to a windmill at this location is in the Corporation Book of Ennis in 1807 as cited in Ó Dálaigh (2012, 17). Also cited by Ó Dálaigh is the demolition of the windmill by 1855 as noted in the records of the General Valuation Office relating to Ennis.
