Single-span cast-iron footbridge over railway line, extant 1897. Set in grounds shared with Westport Railway Station spanning railway line.
A footbridge supplied by E. [Edward] Manisty (established 1878) of Dundalk not only contributing positively to the group and setting values of the Westport Railway Station complex, but also illustrating the continued development or "improvement" of the complex in the later nineteenth century.
This does not grant access. Most recorded buildings are privately owned; view them only from public ground unless the owner allows entry.
