The OS Letters (1837) describe a well called Tobar Teine Aoil or the LimeKiln Well. It was said that the well at St. Patrick's Cathedral was fed by the same stream that feeds this well (O'Flanagan 1927, 35). Not precisely located.
The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
