What is recorded here

Moanogeenagh holds a wedge tomb where ancient hands tilted massive stones into a narrow chamber. People buried their dead beneath that sloping roof, trusting stone to keep what flesh loses. The chamber still points downward like a forgotten command, waiting for someone brave enough to listen.

Wedge tomb; dates to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1000 BC). These tombs are significant as they represent a regional variant of megalithic burial monuments found primarily in the west of Ireland.
