In cutaway bog on a ridge summit. The monument consists of a gallery (L 1.8m, Wth 1m) aligned E-W and formed of four stones. Two further stones, probably outer walling, are exposed to S. A displaced roofstone rests against the two taller W stones. Remains are probably those of a wedge-tomb. Wedge tomb, dating to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1000 BC). Its construction and orientation are typical of wedge tombs found in the Atlantic region of Ireland, reflecting early funerary and ritual practices.
