Deerpark North holds a wedge tomb, a simple stone line waiting for interpretation. The official record is empty, but the land has not forgotten the shape. People may have laid dead there before writing existed, then left the stones to keep the secret.

Wedge tomb; dates to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1000 BC). These tombs are characteristic of the transition from passage tombs to cist burials in Ireland and represent an important phase in the evolution of megalithic funerary architecture.
