Wedge tomb in Corrasluastia

On a shelf of a S-facing slope. A gallery (dims c. 6.5m NNE-SSW; c. 1m WNW-ESE) with one roofstone (dims 2.4m x 1.25m; T 0.3m) in position and some outer walling at W survives within an overgrown cairn (dims 13.5m N-S; 8m E-W). There are three stones of the facade at S. Standing stone (RO025-019001-) is c. 150m to the ENE. Wedge tomb, dating to the Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age (c. 2500–1000 BC). Its orientation and construction reflect a regional tradition in Atlantic Europe, illustrating local funerary and ritual practices of the period.
