What is recorded here

Bohateh North holds a wedge tomb where ancient hands tilted massive stones into a narrow passage. The structure still challenges modern assumptions about strength and time. People may have gathered there to mark death, celebrate harvest or watch the sky. The stones remember more than living people because they stopped fleeing the storm.

Wedge tomb; Late Neolithic or Early Bronze Age. Its form is characteristic of west Irish megalithic traditions and reflects regional funerary practices of the period.
