Freestanding cast-iron water hydrant, extant 1924. Now disused. Street fronted on concrete brick cobbled footpath.
A water hydrant supplied by J. Blakeborough and Sons (fl. 1866-1989) of Brighouse, Yorkshire, representing an interesting example of mass-produced cast-iron work making a pleasing, if largely inconspicuous visual statement in an urban street scene.
