What is recorded here
According to an article in the Bray People newspaper (Kennedy July 1980) some oak timbers were discovered during drainage works at Aghowle. The timbers, including the chute, were identified by Raghnall O’Floinn as being part of a horizontal mill. The precise location of the monument is unknown.
