Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Wanderer as Motor Fishing Vessel (period Unassigned)-(1992). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 1m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Wanderer was a motor fishing vessel that sank in 1992 off the coast of Scotland. It was lost with no lives lost, though the vessel and its fishing gear were recovered; its significance lies in being a representative example of 20th-century fishing industry vessels in Scottish waters.
