Dunamase still holds an urn and unburnt bones inside a small stone chamber, waiting for the living to remember what death once meant. The chamber sits within a rath or tumulus, suggesting the dead were not scattered but placed deliberately among the boundary markers of human life. That much is clear. What is missing is the name of the person whose marrow filled the clay, yet the absence does not weaken the fact. It sharpens it. The chamber preserves more than bone; it preserves the moment when someone chose to keep another person visible instead of allowing forgetting to begin.
