What is recorded here

Two nameless stones may still stand buried beneath Caherty or Crebilly, waiting for a shovel or a storm to reveal them. They belong to the deep PREHISTORIC dark, old enough to predate every written claim in County Antrim. The official record admits it cannot place them, which means the land is holding a secret rather than losing one.

The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as TWO possible STANDING STONES: ROSSLINN PILLARS (unlocated). Recorded period: PREHISTORIC; UNCERTAIN. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.
