What is recorded here

Two cairns mark an unlocated chamber in Ballymena, preserving a burial or boundary function now hidden from modern sight. They belong to the uncertain period recorded for the site, human-made rather than natural, and they still distinguish itself from ordinary ground. The missing point does not remove the act of building. Someone arranged stone twice, perhaps for a dead person, a field edge or a warning, and that choice survived the loss of its exact address.
