Bailey Albion Works Patricroft This is a turnstile locking plate from the Layer Road football stadium, home of Colchester United FC which stood on this site from 1910-2012. Kindly donated to us at no1 by Steve Edmunds to be returned to its rightful home.
This turnstile locking plate is a relic from Layer Road, the original home of Colchester United Football Club, which operated from 1910 to 2012. It was donated by Steve Edmunds and reflects the history of the club and its connection to the Bailey Albion Works in Patricroft.
