What is recorded here

Máire Rua held Turlough Castle through the blood and chaos of the mid-seventeenth century, denying every rival who believed the knoll should have fallen. The castle resisted because she understood that property is not a line on a page but a relationship between people, memory and land. Her name has vanished from most accounts, yet the mound still stands where her judgement outlasted every army and claimant.
Turlough Castle is recorded as a archaeological place in County Clare. Its open map record supplies this location and any linked names or public references.
