Snecked limestone two-bay two-storey generating station, c. 1900, with round-headed window openings having replacement windows. Slate roof with decorative ridge tiles, limestone capping to verges and carved brackets. Single-storey addition.

This turn of the century generating station is important as an intact example of a purpose built industrial building, and survives well intact. It's construction uses traditional materials and has a distinctive narrow two-storey form.
