Trwyn yr Olchfa is shown as a headland on the public map of Pembrokeshire. The saved point is the map point or the centre of its mapped shape.
Trwyn yr Olchfa is a headland composed primarily of Silurian greywacke and mudstone, formed around 440–420 million years ago through deep marine sedimentation and subsequent tectonic compression. It is notable for its resistant rock formations that create a prominent coastal feature, typical of the ancient geological structures found along the Pembrokeshire coast.
