Marianne and Trumman East Fairy Fort between the Lakes are not the same place. There is no known bridge between them. I will not invent one.

Internal diam. 22.8m. A very overgrown site consisting of a circular area enclosed by a substantial bank, a deep fosse and possibly an outer bank. It is situated near the top of a ridge with good views and in good land. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal. Local tradition associates such sites with fairy folklore, and they were often considered places of supernatural significance in Irish tradition.
