What is recorded here

Man-made waterfall built to complete the diversion of Afon Morlais around the open-cast coal mine at Ffos Las (the mine has since closed and a racecourse and houses built in its place).
Trimsaran Waterfall is a man-made cascade created as part of a river diversion project for Afon Morlais during the operation of the Ffos Las open-cast coal mine. Though industrial in origin, it offers a modest yet picturesque scene, with water dropping over a small weir into a tranquil pool, making it a quiet natural attraction amid the transformed landscape of former mining activity.
