What is recorded here

Breaks in the tree line reveal a hidden Clare ringfort, probably built when people wanted defensible ground or a boundary marker. The earthworks still stand because they were made to resist rain, forgetting and time. Walk the broken edge and the shape appears, not as a dead ruin but as a living claim on the land.
