Traquair, St Bryde's Well

St Bryde's Well is associated with St Bridget (Bryde), a 6th-century Irish saint venerated in parts of Scotland and northern England. The well may have been a site of pilgrimage and healing, linked to traditions of water worship and saintly intercession in early Christian Scotland.
