What is recorded here

Rea or Reagh Hill in County Antrim marked a traditional fair site where people gathered before written records preserved the event. The hill itself did not need a building to become memorable because the repeated meeting gave the ground its shape. Goods, marriage talks, rivalry and seasonal food may have moved across that open land until the fair faded from memory. What remains is a place where human noise once outweighed the silence of the hill.
