Roofless overgrown tower to NE of Rockborough House (CO070-110----). Square in plan(c. 5m square); core at ground floor level is solid with door in S wall which leads via a lintelled passage through E side to stairs in N wall which rises to 1st floor level. Door in N wall between ground and 1st floor opens into stairway. Remains of wide window opes in walls of 1st floor chamber. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
