Tower is one of five vanished folly towers in the grounds of Bingham Castle House in County Mayo. Built in the late 1800s or early 1900s, it stood about 40m southwest of the house and north of a mound before demolition in the early 20th century. No visible remains survive, but the tower may have offered a dramatic view, a private stage for gestures, or a way to make an estate feel larger than life.

Located in the grounds of Bingham Castle House (MA024-002001-), c. 40m to SW of the house and immediately to N of a mound (MA024-022----). Built in the late 1800’s/early 1900’s, this tower is one of five towers (MA024-002002-; MA024-003----; MA024-004----; MA024-005----) which embellished the estate.
