Bingham Castle House kept five towers on its estate walls, including the ruined one at the north-west courtyard angle. They appeared during the late 1800s or early 1900s, embellishing the grounds like markers for a household that believed its own boundary should look memorable. The tower stood until demolition in the early 20th century, leaving behind a shape remembered more often than seen.

Located at the NW angle of the courtyard of Bingham Castle House (MA024-002001-). Built in the late 1800’s/early 1900’s, this tower is one of five towers (MA024-002003-; MA024-003----; MA024-004----; MA024-005----) which embellished the estate walls.
