Ardbraccan church still holds a broken tomb: a tall side panel with three imperfect crests and a wide slab whose roman letters have worn illegible. The stones may have joined as one chest before handling, weather or rebuilding separated them. They remain beside the tower and near the Montgomery tomb, preserving a local death that has lost its name but keeps its shape.

Beside the tower of the parish church of Ardbraccan (ME025-022----) and close to the Montgomery chest tomb (ME025-022002-) is a side-panel (dims 1.96m x 0.72m) from another tomb that has three imperfect crests in false relief. It may have been associated with a slab (dims 2.26m x 0.95m; T 0.2m) that has an illegible legend in roman lettering executed in false relief that is now against the E wall of the church.
