One chamber contained a living woman, her mother-in-law and a child. The second held a dead man and his wife. The first chamber was a trap. The second was a gift. That is why the woman must choose between love and life.
An undated but probably medieval chest-tomb in the graveyard to the E of the church (KE043-224005-). It is wedge-shaped and is formed of two parts neatly joined together and is decorated with a raised rectangular pattern embodying a swastika motif and an interlaced curvilinear design.
Medieval graveslab described by Bradley (1987, 71) as follows; 'Tapering slab on the ground to the south of the east, end of the church. Decorated in relief with a swastika and an interlaced pelta motif.

Medieval chest tomb, 14th to 16th century. Its wedge-shaped design and decorative elements reflect regional funerary practices and stone-carving traditions in early Irish ecclesiastical contexts.
