On E side of a byroad immediately SW of a small house cluster. It consists of a spring well defined by a circular unroofed drystone wall (D 5m) opening out to N. Toberneebha is traditionally associated with St. Neebha, a lesser-known early Irish saint, and was historically visited for its supposed curative properties, particularly for skin ailments and eye complaints. The well’s circular drystone construction reflects a common design in early Christian and prehistoric ritual sites in Ireland.
