What is recorded here

Tobermurry is a holy well in County Clare, Ireland, where clean water still rises from the earth. People may have drank from it, washed wounds or left small gifts beside the stone. The well belongs to the living townland, not a forgotten display.

Tobermurry is a holy well traditionally associated with Saint Murry (or Muredach), a 7th-century Irish saint known for his monastic foundations in County Kerry. The well was historically visited for its supposed curative properties, particularly for eye ailments and general healing.
