Tobermochulla is a holy well traditionally associated with Saint Mochulla, a 7th-century Irish monk and bishop known for his role in the spread of Christianity in Munster. The well was historically visited for its supposed curative properties, particularly for eye ailments and general healing, and may have been a site of seasonal pilgrimage or ritual.
