Tobermacduagh — Report the wrong picture

In a small wood close to N boundary of td. and c. 70m N of a byroad. This well, correctly Tobar Mac Duach, is completely overgrown but appears to consist of a natural spring enclosed by a small rectangular drystone enclosure (L 2m, Wth 1.7m). Tobermacduagh (Tobar Mac Duach) is associated with Saint Mac Duach, a 7th-century Irish monk and companion of Saint Kevin of Glendalough. The well was traditionally visited for its healing properties, particularly for eye ailments and general physical ills, and was a site of pilgrimage and seasonal rituals.
