Toberelane is a holy well in County Kerry where a stream escapes from beneath a large stone marked by a modern incised cross. It sits two hundred metres northwest of the early ecclesiastical site at Killelane, yet no human tradition still explains why the water flows or what the cross was meant to protect. The absence of memory does not diminish the place; it invites imagination to fill the gap with wonder rather than false certainty.
Toberelane/Tobar Faoláin: A stream issues from under a large stone which bears some graffiti, including an incised cross of probably modern origin. There are no recorded traditions associated with the well which lies about 200m NW of the early ecclesiastical site at Killelane (KE043-157001-).
Ó Danachair (1960, 77) recorded the following details about this well; ' "Toberelane" on 1842 map; "Tobar Faolain" - An Seabhac, op. cit. No tradition survives'.
The above description is derived from J. Cuppage, ‘Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey. Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne’ (1986), no. 944. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.

Toberelane, also known as Tobar Faoláin, is associated with Saint Faolán, a lesser-known early Irish saint. The site features a stream emerging from under a large stone marked with graffiti and a possibly modern incised cross, though no specific cures or detailed traditions are recorded for this location.
