Tobercoyne, Gortnaclassagh is a holy well traditionally associated with Saint Coney, a 7th-century Irish saint known for his ascetic practices and healing miracles. The well was historically visited for its supposed curative properties, particularly for eye ailments and general healing, and may have been a site of seasonal pilgrimage or ritual.
