Todhar An Teanpuill, or the Well of the Temple, on the Isle of Tiree is traditionally associated with St. Donnan, a 6th-century Irish monk and martyr linked to the nearby Temple (Cill Donnain) and his holy site at Eigg. The well may have been used for healing rituals, and such sites were often believed to possess curative properties, particularly for skin ailments or general ill health, in line with broader Scottish Gaelic well-cult traditions.
