What is recorded here

Molten tin flowed through the tinning furnace at Castell Malgwyn during the Post Medieval period, giving bright protective skins to steel and feeding the ambitious estate nearby. The furnace may have stood beside the water conduit and working yards that drew Hammet to the valley. It is no longer a complete visible building, but it remains recorded as the industrial heart behind the house, gardens and bridge.
