THREE STANDING STONES, possibly MEGALITHIC TOMB in Glen

THREE STANDING STONES, possibly MEGALITHIC TOMB

What is recorded here

Three stones still stand in a Fermanagh glen, possibly marking a buried tomb rather than a completed chamber. They reject easy explanation because no cavity is certain, yet their alignment suggests people once believed death needed a visible edge. The glen keeps that much of the ceremony intact: a place set apart, a body hidden, a boundary drawn in stone.
The official Northern Ireland record identifies this as THREE STANDING STONES, possibly MEGALITHIC TOMB. The official map point was placed at the centre of the recorded archaeological site from the source map reference.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
