Thomas F. Woodlock

Thomas F. Woodlock was born in Dublin, Ireland on September 1, 1866, before crossing the Atlantic to shape American finance and public policy. He edited The Wall Street Journal, sat on the Interstate Commerce Commission, and wrote about Catholic life until his death in New York City in 1945. A boy from County Dublin became a bridge between two worlds, carrying Irish memory into rooms where railroads, markets and national rule were decided.
