What is recorded here

Castle Hill rose above Cardiff long before the first stone of The Twyn touched the ground. The house appeared in the 18th Century, when people still measured distance in breath and memory. Its rooms may have held lovers, ledgers or quiet prayers, but no written fact survives to confirm which.
