Battle of St Fagans is a major battle site with a checked map point.
The Battle of St Fagans was fought in 1648 during the Second English Civil War between Royalist forces under Prince Maurice of the Rhine and Parliamentarian troops led by Colonel Thomas Horton. The Royalists were defeated, leading to the fall of Glamorgan to the Parliamentarians and marking a significant shift in control over south Wales.
