What is recorded here

Octagonal belvedere built to frame the sweep of Courtmacsherry Bay, now reduced to three surviving sides and a set-back central section on the high ground east of Court Macsherry house. Its string course still marks the line between ground and first floor, a thin horizontal clue that the tower once rose complete. What is missing has not vanished; it has withdrawn into the view itself, leaving the ruins to point downward instead of upward.
