Semi-detached three-bay two-storey with dormer attic house, built c. 1870, with conservatory and porch to front (east) elevation, projecting gabled end bay having bay window to south elevation. Pitched slate roofs with overhanging eaves, ornate timber bargeboards and rendered chimneystacks. Rendered walls with render plinth course and blind recessed panels to porch and bay window. Pointed arch window openings to first floor having render continuous sill course. One-over-one pane timber sliding sash windows throughout. Paired pointed arch window openings to south elevation, those to gabled end bay having stepped label mouldings. Square-headed window opening to south elevation, attic level, having label moulding. Square-headed window openings to ground floor. Paired square-headed window opening to south elevation having render surround. Square-headed openings to rear (north) elevation having six-over-two pane timber sliding sash windows. Pointed arch opening to porch having render hood moulding and impost course and overlight and timber panelled double-leaf door. Cast-iron piers to south having cast-iron double-leaf gates with acanthus details.

Built as a pair, this house is one of a number of similar, substantial buildings built on the High Road in the late nineteenth century. It is characterised by features of the Victorian period including an irregular plan, varied roofline and decorative render and timber details. It is distinguished by the quality of these ornate details, which give rise to a coherent decorative design.
