The 'Deitsh' or Moat of Caernarfon Castle is a castle, fort or tower in Gwynedd, Wales. Perhaps water once bit at the stone legs of Caernarfon, making the castle a island that could not be taken by surprise. Maybe the moat was not decoration but a warning, a liquid wall that turned every attacking boot into a drowning risk.
