This green commemorative plaque records: The Beechey Boys. In memory of Amy Beechey and her family who enjoyed many walks in the Arboretum from their home in nearby Avondale Street. Eight of Amy's sons fought in the Great War, only three survived, one of whom was badly injured. The ultimate sacrifice. Recorded plaque organisation: Lincoln.
