What is recorded here

Davies (1948, 116) recorded that 'the modern church occupies a pre-Reformation site which is marked on the Baronial Map as Aghavanme. There are no ancient remains'. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cavan' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1995).
