What is recorded here

Sweat Ho is a vanished sweathouse on a SW-facing slope in County Leitrim, marked only on the 1907 OS map and lost from the ground entirely. It sits twenty metres north of an abandoned farmhouse, with other houses a hundred metres to the northwest, suggesting a small cluster of lives that once breathed steam into the hillside air. The absence is not emptiness but transformation: stone and soil have taken back what human hands shaped, leaving behind a coordinate rather than a chamber.

Situated on a SW-facing slope and c. 20m N of an abandoned farmhouse. It is marked as a sweathouse only on the 1907 edition of the OS 6-inch map with houses also c. 100m to the NW.
