What is recorded here
A piece of hazel brushwood (Wth 0.24m; diam. 0.025m) in the drain face. The site sits in well-humified Sphagnum peat with some Eriophorum. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1996. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
