Structure

A piece of brushwood (L 1.55m; diam. 0.04m) with a metal-cut chisel point on the field surface. The piece is situated in well-humified Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1994. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
