Structure

A piece of alder brushwood (L 0.195m min.; diam. 0.018m) cut to a chisel point in the drain face. The site was situated in moderately humified Sphagnum peat. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1994. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
