Structure

Five widely spaced vertical stakes on two adjacent field surfaces (L 5m; Wth 2.5m). There is no apparent structure. Four stakes have been cut to chisel points, the fifth stake to a wedge point. One stake was identified as hazel. Recorded by the Irish Archaeological Wetland Unit (University College, Dublin) in 1994. The evidence is not sufficient to warrant its acceptance as the remains of an archaeological monument.
